So for about three weeks now, I have been running every day. I haven't really ran this consistently since I was on track in elementary school and high school. At first I was really dreading the idea of getting up and going out to run. I started out with a half mile the first week, simple enough. After the first couple of days, I really got into it and I didn't dread going out. So, the second week I upped it to one mile. Finally today I was able to run two whole miles in 15 minutes. I was shocked! That's about seven and a half minutes per mile! In high school my mile was usually eight and a half or nine minute, so the fact I'm in the seven rage really makes me excited!
One of my friends who was on track throughout high school recommended that every two weeks I add one mile until I can run 6 miles a day. I think I will take his advice! I mean, what do I have to lose? No pun intended. haha

My brother is moving out tomorrow. Needless to say, I'm very excited for him. (And partially jealous, but that's my own fault. No car, no license, no job, no room to be jealous.) But, my little sister is confused. She doesn't quite understand why his whole room is filled with boxes. We keep trying to explain that he's leaving, but she's still not accepting it. So much so that she started unpacking his box of old VHS's and DVD's. Cute right? Until she saw Batman's Mask of the Phantasm... I loved that movie for as long as I can remember... (My favorite part is when he accidentally rips the cheek off of his robot wife and says "eww"... makes me laugh) But my sister pulls out the Batman VHS's, like Mask of the Phantasm, the Adam West Batman, and the Creepy Awesome Batman with Penguin and Catwoman, and gets furious at my brother for packing this. She hands it to me and says "This is Penny's, NOT Corny's" which made me laugh. Not only does my sister know I love Batsy, but she is furious that my brother would have them... even though they are actually his. Anyway, I thought it was cute and I would post this.
(My sister LOVES the movie Hairspray, so she nicknamed my brother and I Penny Pingleton and Corny Collins.)

Camelot
So, the stories of Camelot and Robin Hood have been favorites of mine since I was a kid (I love old, classic movies...) Naturally I would be drawn to the new series on Starz, Camelot. Oh my. I love this show! Not only does this depiction of Camelot do justice to the story... It is visually incredible. Initially I was interested because Joseph Fiennes portrays Merlin... And c'mon. He was in Shakespeare in Love and Elizabeth... Of course I love this actor.
After one episode, I was addicted. The characters are strong, the stories and designs are stunning... And I have found a new love, to which I am shocked I never picked up on him before (He was an archer in Robin Hood! AND is compared to Errol Flynn *swoon*) Clive Standen. He plays Gawain, the Maiden's Knight. He's loyal and protective and all for the battle (sexy)... Oh, and he's a good actor too... (The picture is from Robin Hood)
Aside from my obsessive watching of Camelot, I have been vigorously writing a series of books. Not to give too much away, but it's partially an illustrated novel. Think... Watchmen meets Pirates of the Caribbean meets Harry Potter meets Dracula. Yeah. That kind of book... Basically there are a collection of reincarnated souls that are trapped on earth, and they must find each other before the army of the undead destroys the human world. In addition to reincarnation, there are other mythological beings and creatures I add to show that every story, myth, and legend stem from their own truths. Stay tuned!
